Application notes with the Reece Lab, Harvard University
The Reece Group have used our special low-volume High Temperature Reaction Chamber (HVC) for the Praying Mantis to carry out pulse-probe and modulation excitation MES-DRIFTS experiments on catalysts.
- Resolving transient responses of catalyst systems using a low-volume DRIFTS reactor
- Active site titration for CO oxidation catalyzed by Pt-SiO2 using DRIFTS
- Pulse chemisorption in a low-volume DRIFTS reactor
Harrick Praying Mantis™ used for Raman and DRIFTS spectroscopy on catalysts for Electrochemical cells
The High Temperature Reaction Chamber is being used to study catalysts for electrochemical cells such as PCECs and PCFCs.
Harrick ConcentratIR2™ Multibounce ATR
The ConcentratIR2 is proving its value in life sciences and pharmaceutical applications for its combination of high sensitivity and low sample volume requirements.
This is especially useful where there’s a need to resolve the amide I and II bands of proteins and peptides in small quantities of biofluid or medicinal extracts.
The latest note is on GLP-1 proteins that are used in diabetes treatments and weight loss drugs.
- Proving IR spectroscopy workflows for GLP-1 agonist medicines using the Harrick ConcentratIR2
- Characterizing Polymer-DNA nanoparticle complexes for efficient drug delivery applications
- Microvolume analysis of C3H mice urine samples with the Harrick ConcentratIR2
